Ep 17. The ”Boring” Christian

Have you ever been called "boring" for your faith in Jesus Christ? Have you ever been excluded from certain things since people saw you as weird or awkward for being a Christian? Ever felt lonely as a Christian? Well, take a listen. I have some words to encourage you, friend. :) 
 
Luke 2:41-52 KJV"Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. Ep 15. Exercising Spiritually

Frustrated that you haven’t been able to exercise lately? Frustrated that you haven’t been able to do the things that you want to do? Take a listen to hear how God wants us to prioritize spending time with Him. Yes, we may not get to do our favorite activities all the time, but the time spent spiritually is worth more than any exercise, activity, or pastime. Let’s exercise in Christ.

Ep 14. Apple of the Eye

"Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings," Psalms 17:8 KJV
 
Jesus will keep you. And that means more than you can imagine. This Christian walk can be challenging and lonely, but it is worth it every day. Jesus, keep me, keep us, as the apple of the eye. No matter how much the world may call after us, hide me, hide us under the shadow of thy wings. Be encouraged, my brothers and sisters out there. Jesus is with you.

Ep 13. A Rough Road

Hi friends,
Life can be challenging. And some storms and clouds try to block the sun, but that doesn't stop the sun from shining. Above those clouds, rain, and lightning, you will see the sun burning bright to give light to the world. Similarly, Jesus always has a way of reminding us that He always shines...and that He is always working.

Ep 12. Young and Taking a Stand

Has fear ever stopped you from sharing your faith in Jesus Christ? Has the threat of persecution stopped you from sharing your testimony with others? Ep 11. Falling in Love with Jesus

Hello there! Welcome to another episode of Soaking in the Sonlight!!!! My name is Olivia, and I am a 26-year-old in love with Jesus Christ. And I want my peers to love Jesus Christ too. 
 
In this week’s episode, I want to encourage everyone to listen to Jesus’ voice throughout the podcast. I say this because there are so many things and people that try to compete for our attention and love in this life. But, Jesus should be our only focus because the temptations of this life can cause us to leave God. So I encourage everyone to come with an open mind on falling in love with Jesus Christ and not falling out of love with Him. Love you all. Be encouraged.

Ep.10: Make a Joyful Noise

Hello there! Welcome to the 10th episode of Soaking in the Sonlight!!!! My name is Olivia, and I am a 26-year-old in love with Jesus Christ. And I want my peers to love Jesus Christ too. :)
 
In this episode, I want to share my testimony of how God helped me get out of my comfort zone as a young girl and start to praise the Lord. You may feel uncomfortable with the idea of praising God out loud but hear me out. God wants us to praise Him with our voices, and He wants us to give our best to Him. It may seem awkward or difficult at first to praise the Lord in front of others, but always remember that you are praising God FOR God and not for people. When you worship Him, it is only between you and Him and no one else. So I pray this podcast encourages all of us to go further and deeper in our worship to God as we continue to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Ep 9. Testimony Time #soakinginthesonlight

Hello there! Welcome to a new episode of Soaking in the Sonlight! My name is Olivia and I am a 26-year-old in love with Jesus Christ. And I want my peers to love Jesus Christ too. :)
 
We may feel like the inconveniences and delays of life can be really annoying…but it can be God’s way of looking out for us. That traffic could be keeping us from an accident. That fever could keep us home when there could have been danger at work. Sleeping past the alarm could allow us to witness to someone we wouldn’t have otherwise met if we left out too early. In this episode, I share how an inconvenience in my eyes ended up being God’s protection.
God makes sure all things work together for the good. All things.

Ep. 8 You’re Gonna Make It

Hello there! Welcome to a new episode of Soaking in the Sonlight! My name is Olivia and I am a 26-year-old in love with Jesus Christ. And I want my peers to love Jesus Christ too. :)
 
There are times when we face trials and pain. But God is the one that will help us. Today, I briefly share how God still kept me through my trial of sickness and loneliness in college. And God is still keeping me. By His grace and strength, I’m going to make it. And by His grace and strength, you are going to make it too. Stay strong, soldier. Jesus is making a warrior out of you.
