Do you ever feel like you don't know what to do in life? Do you ever feel confused as to what to do? Well, praying to God is the first step we should take for direction. It would also be worthwhile to listen to the wise counsel of the elders at your church. They know a lot, and their wisdom can give us guidance in this life. They can also pray with us as we ask God for direction. Take a listen to learn more about how one king had to decide between listening to the elders and his peers. Let's see how that turned out for him...
Here are the Bible verses from today's episode. Feel free to check them out on your own!
1 Kings 12:1-15 (Amplified)
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."
Hosea 4:6 KJV
"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Matthew 7:13-14 KJV
